The narrative of the video reaches its conclusion where we learn what is really happening and why there was blood on Urie's hands. The lyrics and visual play well together giving the audience the impression the women is dead and Urie killed her. These couple of shots also work well with the lyrics, "found another victim, bu no ones ever gonna find Miss Jackson". The red symbolises danger and usually death, which we could assume from the lifeless body. There is a high angle close up of Urie washing the blood off his hands. The close up pan of the women in provocative clothing suggests activity of a sexual nature, but it is never clear in the video. The colour consist mainly of blue, black and white, showing a coldness to the surroundings and to the character. The light being normality and the darkness being the opposite. This could relate to his mental state as he keeps confined and wants to stay a lone. He is facing his back from the window suggesting he has turned his back on the light and wants to face the darkness. The light from behind is very bright, blocking us from seeing his face in detail. The way Urie is dressed is very smart but his shiny jacket fits in with the golden-brown colour theme. Miss Jackson", giving the impression of obsession and craziness. This ties in well with the style the song, because the lyrics repeat in a mono voice ".Miss Jackson. Any normal person would turn it off as there is no picture and we don't particularly like the noise. ![]() #Miss jackson panic at the disco music video meaning tvThe static TV set also implies Urie's character state. The TV and mirror are two of the biggest references in the whole music video. The camera peeps through the peep hole showing Brendan Urie and then within the same 20 seconds there are other references used which are obvious. ![]() They're both alternative bands that broke out of their respective genres and gained popularity in the mainstream with songs that weren't mainstream but we now view as mainstream (I Write Sins & Dance Dance to name a few), Both used to have long titles but ended up moving past that, and Panic did get their start through Pete, and they have toured together a few times, but the instrumental and lyrical styles are completely different between the two bands. The following shots all consist of the reference to the notion of looking. I understand why people consistently group these guys together. But their extreme stylistic changes between albums is really where comparisons end. These two groups have some of the greatest varieties of style that I have ever experienced, which is fantastic. Some days I'm feeling TTTYG or A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, but other days I'm feeling IOH or Pretty Odd. Each album has been a departure from the last, and I think that's what some of the appeal is. I might be (and probably am) wrong in saying that no other groups have done what Panic and FOB did with every album they've released. Special thanks to /u/lily182 and /u/atticus18244fsas for the picture flair, and /u/sifex for our page design! But if they are out there lurking on the page, hi Pete! Although FOB's management has been in touch with us, we are in no way connected to the band. #Miss jackson panic at the disco music video meaning freeIf you have an questions please feel free to message the mods!
